Celebrations 2024
The famous U.S. luxury chain Neiman Marcus has just selected a piece of art from Galerie Kraemer as part of its iconic Fantasy Gifts for the 2024 holiday season!
As a French gallery based in Paris, we are deeply honored and grateful to have been chosen among the seven items to participate in this legendary American tradition dating back to 1959.
We are proud to present the only piece of art featured: an exceptional calèche, most likely intended for a royal or princely child, dating from the second half of the 18th century.
This selection was revealed during the prestigious inaugural evening on October 15, at the United Theater on Broadway in Los Angeles, originated by Charlie Chaplin, which received significant media coverage in the United States.
Then, the carriage was exhibited in Beverly Hills, followed by Dallas.
The renowned Kraemer Gallery will participate in the upcoming Fantasy Gift event, organized in Beverly Hills by the prestigious Neiman Marcus chain, showcasing an extraordinary 18th-century work of art.
An annual American event filled with magic and fantasy.
As always, Neiman Marcus presents exceptional offerings at this event with one guiding principle: bringing dreams to life.
A wonderful child carriage, likely unique in private collection.
For the 65th edition of the Fantasy Gift, Kraemer Gallery and Neiman Marcus are pleased to collaborate on presenting an exceptional object.
The oldest family-run art gallery in France, founded in 1875, will therefore be present in Beverly Hills from October 16th to showcase one of its treasures: a magnificent 18th-century carriage made of carved, gilded, and painted wood, certainly intended for a child of the Spanish royal family descended from the kings of France.
This child’s calèche is now a unique piece in private hands. It is part of the rare items of the Kraemer Gallery, of which Karl Lagerfeld said: “For high-quality 18th-century pieces, the Kraemer Gallery is my favorite.”
