WHEN ARTS MEET
Galerie Kraemer exhibition

Takashi Murakami / Louis Vuitton / Kraemer

The Japanese artist Murakami was, in the early 2000s, the creator of the famous colorful Louis Vuitton monograms.

He is now resuming his collaboration with LV under a theme that brings a smile at the beginning of the year: the joyful spirit.

Takashi Murakami et canapé garni d’une tapisserie polychrome d’Aubusson d’époque Louis XVI, estampillé de Jean-Baptiste Lelarge

Murakami already embodied this joyful spirit at the Gallery on Rue de Monceau by showcasing his art amidst rare 18th-century furniture. Here, a sofa upholstered with a polychrome Aubusson tapestry from the Louis XVI period, stamped by Jean-Baptiste Lelarge, perfectly complements this 2002 piece, “Kaikai Kiki News.”

Recently, we had the pleasure of partnering with Louis Vuitton High Jewelry for the launch of Francesca Amfitheatrof’s collection.
